Quality control

We carry-out continuous quality control of our products at all phases of the production process, in accordance with the basic principles of the HACCP system. For the purpose in 2010 we setup a Chemical-Biological Research Laboratory (CBRL) at the factory.

The laboratory is used to conduct organoleptic, physical-chemical and microbiological tests on the ready products (drinks, syrups, waters packed in containers), incoming raw materials (syrups, liquid carbonic acid, water) and associated materials. We also carry-out ATA monitoring in real-time, which allows us to readily evaluate the quality of cleaning of premises and equipment.

Microbiological study is carried-out using the membrane filtration method. We use readymade foreign microbiological mediums, which is ISO 9000 certified and disposable sterile expendables, aseptically packed at the supplier’s factory.

The CMRL has all the necessary normative-legal documentation and is equipped with latest machinery, which enables us to highly accurately and quickly conduct the study of ready products, which includes:

  • - Modular measurement system PBA-B of generation M manufactured by “Anton Paar Gmbh”, Austria, which capable of, within 4 minutes, measuring the drink’s density, presence of dry substances, diluted CO2 and alcohol content. There is no need for sample manufacturing: filling is carried out right from the packing.
  • - The system of capillary electrophoresis “Kapel-105M”, which is used to determine the physiological usefulness of the macro and micro elemental content of the packed water. The system of capillary electrophoresis enables us to determine in non-alcoholic products the mass wise concentration of basic ions, acid ions, synthetic food colours, vanillin, caffeine, organic acids, preservatives, sweeteners, aldehydes and herbicides.

The quality of raw and associated materials is carried-out using the equipment manufactured by world’s leading manufacturers: “HANNA Instruments”; “Atago”; “A&D Compani Ltd”; “Merck KGaA”; “HACH”; “SCHOTT Instruments”; “Brookfield Engineering Laboratories”; “Lg-automatic aps”.

The CMRL is a sub-division of LLC “Lagidze Waters” and has:

  • - License № 47.01.05.001.L.000001.01.13 dated 24.01.2013 to carry-out works in the field of research of infection agents in humans and animals and gene-modified organisms III and IV phases of potential hazard;
  • - Certificate of attestation № 01.01.303.040 dated 08.04.2013, issued by the Federal state funded institute “State Regional standardization, metrology and testing center in Saint-Petersburg and Leningrad region (SFI “Test-Saint-Petersburg).
